Community Partners Needed!

Gettysburg Eddie’s (GE) & The Jewel Box Lounge (JBL) (second-floor bar area) will be partnering with local non-profit organizations one day (Wednesday preferred) each month to help give back to the community.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS RECEIVE:

  • 10% donation from the entire day’s gross sales

  • Promotion/Advertisement from GE & JBL social media sites

  • Free use of the JBL from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Provide promotional material to patrons all day long

  • Room use is for the day of the event only

USE OF JBL MAY INCLUDE

  • Meet & Greet

  • Board or Committee Meetings

  • Guest Bartenders from Non-Profit Organization with special tip jars (tips split evenly between guest and regular bartenders)

  • Additional Fundraising Area

    • Small Games of Chance License
    • Silent auction space
    • Other ideas welcomed

  • Volunteer Reception

  • Board Retreat

  • Other Events

Gettysburg Eddies loves to give back to the community!

Gettysburg Eddie’s is a proud 19th Century Base Ball Festival sponsor. The ball players who participate in the base ball festival are not re-enactors; they are actual base ball (two words) players who play a full schedule from April through October all on the East Coast of the United States. The games are not scripted, and each match has a different outcome.

Gettysburg is a proud sponsor of the Gettysburg Little League. Gettysburg Little League is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to youth baseball in Gettysburg, PA, and surrounding areas.

Their mission is to provide children with an opportunity to play baseball in a positive, constructive environment. The highest priority is good sportsmanship and teamwork. They want to give every child the opportunity to succeed and ensure that your child’s first experience with organized baseball is a positive one.
